What are your duties?
you have a duty of up to 45 hours per week and a maximum of 10 hours per day care for the host’s children (for e.g., changing diapers, feeding babies, bathing and dressing children, preparing meals and snacks) helping with homework putting children to beds taking children to parks, playgrounds and other activities handle household chores related to children (for e.g., tidy up children’s bedrooms and toys, do children’s laundry, etc.) traveling with host family on vacations and providing care for the children entertaining children and teaching them about your culture
Who are we looking for?
between 18 to 26 years old single with no children at least completed your high school or equivalent be proficient in spoken English healthy have a driver’s license have passion for childcare able to provide 3 non-family related references (2 childcare references and 1 character references) have at least 500 documented hours of childcare experience pass a background investigation that includes verification of school, references, criminal background check and personality profile (psychometric test) be committed to a 12-month position (extendable to 6 months, 9 months or 12 months)
What would you receive?
room and board receive a minimum weekly stipend of USD 195.75 support with visa process plane ticket to the US and back home upon successfuly completion of program health insurance 2 weeks paid vacation 1.5 days off per week receive over 50 hours of training as well as 2 certificates from the Red Cross (one in CPR and one in Advanced Childcare)
