Requirements to Au Pair in Denmark
To au pair in Denmark, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be between 20 and 29 years old at the time of application
- Be not married, not in a civil partnership, and not in a stable cohabiting relationship
- Have no children and not be expecting a child
- Have conversational English skills
- Have previous childcare experience
- Be medically fit
- Not have close family ties to the host family
- Generally must not have previously held a Danish residence permit or have au paired in Denmark for more than one year
- Non-EU citizens must qualify for and obtain a Danish residence permit
