More about the program

Au pairing in the Netherlands is a structured cultural exchange program regulated by the Dutch Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND). Au pairs live with a host family for up to one year and become part of daily family life while assisting with childcare and light household duties. The experience focuses on cultural exchange rather than employment.

Living in the Netherlands allows au pairs to experience a tolerant and international society known for its canals, cycling culture, museums, festivals, and high quality of life. Au pairs are encouraged to integrate into Dutch life, improve their independence, and explore the country while being supported by a regulated and well-protected program.
